HOW TO ORDER A MEAL FOR YOUR PLAYER BEFORE GAME DAY
If you would like to order a game day meal (sandwich or salad) from Newks, please follow the below instructions. All orders must be placed by 7pm the night before the game. The Newks guy told us the sooner the better! We will pick up the orders and deliver them to the school. Here are the instructions:
- Go to this link to get to the catering menu order screen.
- Select "pick up" and put in the pickup date (game date) and pickup time of 2:30-2:45. Number of guests = 1
- Select the Smyrna location (1405 Spring Street)
- Proceed to menu and select "Boxed Lunches"
- Choose a sandwich box or salad box. For the sandwiches, you have several options: combo box, which is 1/2 sandwich plus salad and dessert, or a full sandwich plus one or two sides. Once you add a sandwich or salad box to your order, it will take you to a screen to select sides and/or the actual sandwich you want (there are many choices). You can see what comes on each sandwich/salad and can customize to remove items if you want. You can customize the order to a certain extent, but just know that they will be making a bunch of sandwiches so too much customization is difficult :)
- Near the top of the screen where you choose the sandwich/sides option, there is a box where you can fill in a name. PLEASE TYPE YOUR PLAYER/MANAGER'S NAME HERE.Newks will write the name on the box so we can identify which box goes with which player. If you don't add a name, your player may not get her box.
- Click add to order, then go to checkout
- You will be asked to make an account or continue as a guest. You may want to make an account so that ordering for future dates is easier.
- At the checkout screen, add your payment info, double check date/pickup time/Smyrna location. You DO NOT need to indicate that someone else is picking up the order. BUT please put "CHS Volleyball" in the Order Note at the bottom of the checkout screen.
- Review the order, then I think the button says something like "preauthorize credit card." You actually preauthorize for a couple of dollars over the actual amount due (this is a catering issue). The final receipt that you get by email a day or two later/payment after delivery should be the proper amount. If not please shoot us a message.
